THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Enugu Ezike Diaspora

ARTICLE 1. NAME ENUGU EZIKE DIASPORA

The organization shall be Called ENUGU EZIKE DIASPORA
The address shall and headquarter shall be in London as follow: London, Kingdom.

ARTICLE 2. MOTTO

The Motto shall be: OUR HEART IS FOR THE PEOPLE

ARTICLE 3. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

(a) To bring all the people of ENUGU EZIKE IN DIASPORA together in one platform

(b) To promote the welfare of our people and the communities at home and abroad

(c) To reach out to the less privileged such as widows, orphans, widowers, disabled people in our communities and support our local vigilante group where necessary.

ARTICLE 4. THE ORGANISATION AND ITS MEMBERS

For the purpose of achieving the above aims and objectives, the members shall act in accordance with the following principles

(a) The organisation is based on the principle of individual equality of all its members and respect for one another irrespective of age or social status.

(b) The organisation is a non violence and non criminal organisation and will not accommodate such.

(c) All members shall love and care for one another and shall desist from attacking each other or doing anything that is objectionable to the reputation of the organisation and its administration.

(d) The organisation depends on the co-operation of all the members towards the achievement of its aims and objectives.

ARTICLE 5. MEMBERSHIP

(a) The organisation is open for all the indigenous people of ENUGU EZIKE IN DIASPORA

(b) The admission of any members shall be affected by a guarantor and a thorough background check of such member (to ascertain the place of resident and community in Enugu Ezike Diaspora)

(c) No payment is required for registration of a member as everything shall be based on voluntary donation.

(d) (Subject to review in future).

ARTICLE 6. BRANCH

(a) Branches of the organisation may be established anywhere in the world as approved by the Executive Director/Founder of ENUGU EZIKE IN DIASPORA.

(b) Written application by intending branch shall be made to ENUGU EZIKE DIASPORA and must be signed by the Executive Director and the Secretary, who shall issue to such a branch a certificate showing that it is a subsidiary organ of the organisation.

ARTICLE 7. EXPULSION

(a) (a) Enugu Ezike Diaspora may fine or expel any member who persistently violates the aims and objectives of the organisation.

ARTICLE 8. PRIVILAGES

(a) Every indigenous people of ENUGU EZIKE who reside outside Nigeria are entitled to be a member of ENUGU EZIKE DIASPORA.

(b) Every member is entitled to make suggestion and contribution of ideas on how to achieve the aims and objectives of the organisation.

ARTICLE 9. THE OFFICERS OF THE ORGANISATION SHALL CONSIST OF:

(a) The Founder

(b) The Welfare Secretary

(c) The Executive Members

(a) THE FOUNDER /EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: Shall be at the head of the organisation and shall lead and co-ordinate the functions of the Executive and the general organisation in accordance with the aims and objectives of the organisation. He shall preside over all the gathering of the organisation or its Executive Committee and his decision or interpretation of the terms and conditions shall be final and in conformity with the majority opinion. The Founder shall be one of the three signatories of the organisation’s Bank Account.

ARTICLE 10. FINANCE OF THE ORGANISATION

(a) Voluntary donation from all members

(b) Voluntary donation from other people both individual and group

(c) Fund raising events (quarterly or yearly)

ARTICLE 11. EVENTS OF THE ORGANISATION

(a) ENUGU EZIKE DIASPORA DAY SHALL BE 27TH December of every year

ARTICLE 12. EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

The Founder will be responsible for the appointment of the Executive members as follow:

(a) The Executive committee shall represent the thirty six communities in Enugu Ezike

(b) The selection shall be based on committment of a member towards the aims and objectives of the organisation.

ARTICLE 13: STANDING COMMITTEE

(a) The association may by special resolution form a standing Committee to which may be delegated responsibility for any aspects of the activity of the organisation.

ARTICLE 14. AMENDMENT OF THE TERMS AND CONDITION

The terms and condition shall be added to amended or rescinded by a special resolution of the general meeting of the executive members.

ARTICLE 20. SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES

The Founder will be responsible for the appointment of the Executive members as follow:

(a) Parties to any dispute, the continuance of which is likely to bring the organisation or its administration into disrepute, shall first seek a solution by peaceful means of their choice without resort to any court of law.

(b) Any member may bring any dispute to the attention of the executive committee member which shall adjudicate upon such dispute. Decision shall be given by a simple majority.

(c) The highest appellate body shall be the general forum which shall also give a decision.

(d) Decision on any dispute brought to the named organ of the organisation shall be made in accordance with the aims and objectives of the term and condition, and Enugu Ezike Native Laws and Customs.

ARTICLE 21. HEADQUARTERS

The Founder will be responsible for the appointment of the Executive members as follow:

(a) The headquaters of the Enugu Ezike Diaspora shall be United Kingdom, London.

(b) The General and excutive gathering maybe convene anywhere within United Kingdom.

ARTICLE 22. REGULATIONS OR STANDING ORDERS

(a) Regulations or standing orders as to the method of procedure and all matters not specifically provided for in this terms and conditions may be decided upon by a special resolution of the general convention of the executive members from time to time. Any alterations to standing orders shall require an approval from the founder and two third majority of the executive member after notice of the proposed alteration has been duly given and circulated with agenda. The standing order may at any time be suspended by special resolution of the founder and executive member present.
